                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE
                   CITY FINANCE OFFICER TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST,
                   RESPECTIVELY, AN AGREEMENT WITH THE ELECTRIC
                   POWER BOARD OF CHATTANOOGA FOR THE PURCHASE
                   AND INSTALLATION OF TEN (10) PEDESTRIAN
                   LIGHT POLE ASSEMBLIES RELATIVE TO CONTRACT
                   NO. S-2-91, DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE PROJECT, AT
                   A COST NOT TO EXCEED NINE THOUSAND ONE
                   HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($9,100.00),
                   WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that the Administrator of the Department
       of Public Works and the City Finance Officer be and are hereby
       authorized to execute and attest, respectively, an Agreement with 

       the Electric Power Board of Chattanooga for the purchase and
       installation of ten (10) pedestrian light pole assemblies 
relative
       to Contract No. S-2-91, Downtown Streetscape Project, at a cost
       not to exceed $9,100.00, without prior approval.
